    I just got all my pics recovered from my failed drive. I'm back in business!

    27,633 pic worth 34.3gig - all hi-res!

    I found another location that I had been saving pictures while I was waiting to fix my drive.

    Let me amend my totals...

    30,913 pictures worth 40.8gigs.

    meh even i have more pics than that... 17,297 pics totalling 11.9Gb plus another 25 CD's full of pics (over 17,000 pics there as well)... all 1024x768 or larger...

    It's year's worth of collecting. But, with broadband it doesn't actually take long to get them.

    unless you are totally non-discremenative, your time would go into actually selecting what to download, the process itself is fast enough
