Hi. I actually never posted in any forum before. Just as many people before me said this is a great database for carenthusiasts.
Is there a list of rules on how to post pictures in the Highres Hideout?

The pictures you post in the hideout have to be at least 1024px wide or tall, you have to attach them in your post and preferably not watermarked.

Fine. Until today I only used this forum for adding pictures to my private collection. It contains only Wallpapers of Performance Cars in at least 1600x1200 resolution, most of them factory official ones without watermarks, currently 67 brands from Acura till Wiesman. I startet collecting about 3 years ago and only a handful pics are from this forum.

So I´m planning to add some more to the hi-res hideout. Am I allowed to start new topics there?

It´s a nice place in here I hope to become an appreciated part of the community in the future.

No, for the moment being you can only post in the hideout. To be able to create a thread in the hideout Matt has to give you permission which you get after you've contributed meaningfully enough to the hideout.

If you want to post a new car that isn't the hideout yet post it in the multimedia section with a hideout warning in the post or title and mod will move it.

in the hideout we only allow approved posters. do a search and see if the particular car is already there, and you can post to that thread, and if it isnt, post a new thread in the multimedia section, and we will move it in there.

Thats what I expectet. I thought about searching for requests and check for not doing reposts.
