from a carburated engine to a Injected engine is very hard to do, youll need a complete new motormanegement system, New Fuel Pumps, a new gearbox to go on the new engine. bigger Radiator, bigger Brakes. I dunno if you get a high increase in HP, but if you do, you need a stronger chassis aswell..

Does the engine need replacement? Cos if its all about more power, then you might start thinking about Weber Carburators and some other thingies. Cos that replacement your thinking about is very expensive!

While I understand PorscheNut's points, I feel it is not as hard as one might expect.
People have been rallying the old Mexico for as long as they've been around so you can be damn sure engine transplants have occurred more than hot dinners have been eat.

Now I'm not going to plug websites but have a quick ramble through a search engine and have a "google" at the following words

    classicrsfords uk

A lot of people seem to beleive that engine management systems are difficult, to be honest it get's a hell of a lot easier to just use the one that comes with the engine . . .
(Personally I'd use an older engine cause I'm lazy)

Let us know how you get on.
