Recommended Torrent sites

I'm new to the whole BitTorrent scene and was wondering what other sites are worthwhile, besides www.suprnova.org

any suggestions?

a torrent is a file, which you can open with ur download program, so that it downlaods or something

yeah suprnova is one of, if not the best torrent website. It has movies, games, albums, anything you can think of. Besides that, i also use some others that have files that dont appear on Suprnova. Try this website for links to other torrent sites.

In order to use torrents, you choose the file that you want to download, and it gives you a torrent which you open with a 'Bittorrent client ' i use ABC : Right click here to download Its easy and simple to use; just choose the torrent off the website and open it with the client.

I didnt like bittorent, it was dl at 2kb/s so i got rid of it.

There are a number of reasons for that.
- there might not be enough seeds or peers - if there aren't, the BitTorrent program doesn't have from anywhere to download
- you are behind a firewall - firewalls might be blocking some ports
- you are behind a router - same with the firewalls, the router only allows certain ports to be open. You have to open ports 6889 - 6999 for maximum performance
- there aretoo many peers downloading - if the upload rate is too high or higher than the download rate, then bring down the number of uplodas allowed.
