    BMW E30 lovers

this is a pic of my car..a bit old but still handles better than most...
the pic too is old, I've added an E36 M3 front lip to the spoiler, colour coded my bumpers & left the beading black, made the beading around the windows black as well as the kidney....hi polished my lip on my rims & hi polished my door handles..busy with my interior...

    Hi there nizaam. And welcome!

I'm a real E30 lover, and I drove a few 325's like yours. But never seen any with a turbo. How many BHP? And who fitted the turbo? Is it a kit from Alpina or so?

I like your wheels but think they are too huge for your car. Alpinas are great for E30, but in a moderated size.

Hate the E36 rearview mirrors too, because that's an usual boy racer add on. If I had your car, I'd keep it with the original ones. They're good enough, and at least you wouldn't see a boy racer in a Vauxhall Nova with mirrors like yours.

    Does your car have LSD?

There is nothing like a BMW straight 6!!! Congrats.

Love it! How is it's condition, everything in take and working?

I personally think the mirrors add a nice touch; can't really see the wheels.

Any chance that you will take some more pictures? To me it doesn't seem like there are enough good E30 photos out there, and your dark-red color is gorgeous. Please, next time do it in a natural environment with more light . Live by the Golden Gate bridge by any chance?

Capetown, as in South Africa? Love to see some more pics of your car from the hills above Capetown. Showcasing the beautiful bay below. Nice E30, understated mods and wheel choice. Kinda agree with McReis on the side mirrors though. Also they don't have the angular lines to fit the E30.

thanks guys...the mirrors....some days they're hot other days not...I had a set of white EVO R's on the car but it was a bit too low so the car scraped everywhere..I had to make it so low otherwise I had to kart my in laws around all the time....
I'm just waiting for the weather to clear then I'll take some nice ones...
167kW ,..153kW at the wheels...but we still have to play around with her some more...
Í still wanna fit a LSD....but with this diff. it'll spin in a straight line or around a corner very nicely but just give it a bit too much and the rear will break loose like a M........r

I'd bet you lost it in that 2nd pic.
Anyway, great pic, great car, great driving. I healthly envy you.
I'm checking the market now, as 320is prices seem to be a surprise for me. Never thought they'd be so cheap.

    M3 racer

Hi im building a tarmac bmw e30 with a standard bmw body (out of a 318i) shell and putting a m3 engine into the shell. so if i do crash i dont have to replace the m3 shell i am making it as light as possible because the cars in australia that i will be competing against are v8 and have alot of power on the straights we are planing to be fast braking and carrying speed through the corners.
