i'm going to scotland next year and I wondering what's the best car to rent.
and Matra, I got something for you too, what's the gas milage on Matra's and Alpines, cause I woundn't mind renting one, espically, the t180 or whatever you call it cause I like it's sleek profile.

Honda CR-V or equivalent. Whenever I can on vacation, I like to get something tall with big windows. Great for touristing.

Depends on what you want to do, where you want to go, who is with you and how much fun you want. Pretty much the same choices aas everywhere else in the world -- and all the same companies too
The Bagheera gets about 25-30 mpg and the A610 gets anywhere from 20 to 30 mpg dependant on how driven. You won't find anyone renting out any Matra or Alpines as they're not 'current'.
