Check out the November issue of Wheels, page 30, bottom of the page. Its got spy pics.
"Toyota's next generation Supra is expected to follow BMW's M5 with an F1-inspired V10. The photographer who took these shots of a Supra prototype at the Nurburgring says it sounds like a 10 cylinder F1 engine. A 250kw 3.5l Direct-Injection V6 is already rumoured to be the base angine for the new model, believed to be based on a short-wheelbase verison of the next Lexus GS platform."

I think when VE Comm gets LS2, The next HSV's will be powerd by the same engine in the GTS-R. Then SII they might go 6.2L, And the GTS might make a comeback by VEII at the latest

No reason why not it'll have a whole new Monaro bodyshell to go off. Maybe then we might also see the return of the SLR5000 if Holden gives the Torrie project the go ahead

Only what you see on these forums.
Holden's said they can put the Torana into production tomorrow if they wanted. As a brand strategy the VE will more than likely follow suit from the VB, meaning an affordable luxury car, which leaves the Torana some breathing space on the pricing. So from this I reckon the we won't see the new Torrie till after the VE, but I bet HSV's been itching to work on another bodyshell, so it'd make sense that there'd be HSV Torana's.
The Torana was also designed to hold a V8 so the SLR would be a 'natch.

Oh, in that case you can look it up yourself you lazy bastard.

Its gonna be Toyota's flagship sportscar (remember that subject?) and is gonna have extensive use of carbon fibre and aluminium to keep the weight at the 1300kg mark, and acheive 50/50 weight distribution. At this stage its all I know

What thing? I've seen it in testing so you can't see the front or anything really, other than Camry-style headlights. The rest wouldn't have been confirmed. The body shape is VERY Supra, however

Theres heaps all over the net, I'd say all of them are bullshit. All I know about the new Supra is what you can see above, its set for 2006, and confirmed for Australia

With Alfa Romeo style 'crosse eyed' lights, and a hardtop convertible if memory serves... it was white too

i reckon if Holden ever did bite the bullet with the Torana, say 2007, that Toyota should jump on the opportunity with a production version of the AWD Sportivo Concept they have
