Bugatti Veyron- it's been awaited as the best supercar ever, etc, then turns out to be a nasty piece of work.
BMW 1 Series- BMW hardly show it in their (multiple) adverts, because it is ugly as sin and meant to be fantastic. Unfortunatley, loads of people have bought one in my yuppie suburb....

Agreed, LEXUS and Infinity are MB wannabies. I'm also going to out on a lim here and say RR and Bently are over rated. Yes they are both very well made, by hand I may add but dynamicaly for the price they're nothing special. Sure they are luxurious as hell, but in the end that's all they offer. They're luxury living rooms on wheels as far as I'm concerned.

RR's and Bentleys are overrated, but I love 'em. One of the few newer cars I'd drive because of all that hand-made attention, and of course I love any luxury living rooms on wheels

Skylines, Lamborghinis, McLaren F1. Skylines for what people think they see in movies.
F1 being judged and applauded by people who never have nor will drive one. Lambos, theres a funny story I have. I overheard a conversation where one of them said that a Lambo could go 400mph. I can understand the stupid logic in that:
kilometers /hour mistakenly read as mph.
Even then that would 50 some odd mph faster than it could

Why the McLaren F1? Just because someone cant (remember, even for a millionaire a F1 is a dream) drive it, doesn't mean they can't applaud it. The car is very respective in my mind; heck, if I send you a video of it drag racing a Nismo Skyline maybe you will change your mind...
I like Mustangs, but I can see how they are overrated.
I'll say Vector's are one of the most overrated cars out there, by people and the manufacture itself.

Yeah, Mustangs for the most part are overrated. They're fun cars to drive, I love mine, but require some fairly substantial work to make them really fast.

Definately the New Mini. That car is extremely overrated. Pretty much every BMW falls into this equation too.
