I do advertising for this site that pays me for every member that signs up at a certain website and I don't have many places to spam my link or advertise it, whatever you want to call it.

The worst way to get people to sign up is spam. Think about it, when you see spam, there is no way in hell you're gonna click that link. If you asked people nicely at a forum instead of spamming random boards, you'd be much more succcessful.
