I prefer different makes for differents purposes - Generally I'd pick imports, but I'm I huge fan of loads of American cars. I can't really say I'd definitively pick one over the other.

I would most likely go European (import). Except the cars I like from Europe usually aren't legally imported here in America - England: Atom's Noble's and Caterham's...Woops!
But still, Lotus and so many others ARE legal.

Meh... I won't even bother with this new guy. He'll drown himself anyway.
hmm im even split...
roadsters=imports, Mx5/ s2000 ETC.
muscle/powerfull cars= US domestics/ Z06 mustang ETC.
Luxury=imports/ bentley, maybach, infiniti, acura ETC.
Sports cars= imports/ NSX .S2000, elise ETC.
Compact cars= imports/ audi A3 golf GTI , integra/rsx ETC.
but one of the most important
most bang for the buck....Domestics/ Z06 need i say more? porshe slayer for 70 grand
ok guys the 300c may not be as good as a merc but its not overatted. heres some of wat C/D wrote about it in their 10 BEST CARS... manages to avoid being a gas guzzler with cylinder deactivation...even with hemi only reaches 43,000...not exactly light on feet but agility is high... quiet and comfortable interior...no better buy in performace sedan market. (obviously the Sti and EVO have better performance but there not qiute as 'full size' plus performance is close exept in twisties.)

Those would be my reasons, too. The classics have the longevity I desire in a car. Also, the torquey engines, roominess and normal styling (not to mention pleny of real metal and chrome).Originally Posted by jcp123

I feel that it is overrated because everybody acts like it is the coolest car ever created and act like it is better than anything on the road, even a Jaguar or a Mercedes Benz. All it is is for 20 year old pimps to put big wheels on.Originally Posted by The_Canuck

ok prius the saleen S7 is the fastest street legal production car in the us and i am not putting it down the thing i wrote was about how good it was
You're right, it can't be compared. Why? Because it is based on the previous generation of E-Class. So the 300C is a generation behind its competitors. I still quite like it though.Originally Posted by rev440

It all depends on too many factors. There's no one fastest street-legal car in the United States, or the world, for that matter. A matter of .2 seconds is a margin of error that can derive from altitude, driver, atmospheric pressure, heat, humidity, car (ringer or lemon), and shifting. If there's a constant difference of .5 seconds of more, then you can claim a car to be the fastest production car.Originally Posted by civicssuck

I'd like to see europe come up with a car that costs 70k that can beat a Z06 around the track though. I can't think of any off the top of my head.Originally Posted by Sweeney921
