Opel has released the images of its forthcoming ASTRA due to be introduced at Frankfurt motorshow next September claiming engines range from 1.4 80 bhp to mighty 2.0 turbo charged 200 bhp to be introduced later on 2005.
Opel is trying to match up Ford's successful Focus with this version.

This car is said to have some new inventions such as IDS-Plus (Interactive Driving System) and CDC (Continuous Damping Control) allow the dampers (or 'shock absorbers,' as normal people call them) to adjust themselves in real time to suit the prevailing road conditions. The IDS-Plus system allows the driver to select a sport mode which sharpens up the shocks' performance, as well as making the throttle more responsive and tuning the steering's power assistance for more aggressive driving.
Shapes remind us of Toyota Yaris especially the rear panel & door.
