Honda Civic Type-R #2
Apparently in Germany the GT version will cost 34 thousand €.
That makes it more expensive than a 370Z.

Visca Catalunya!
That is expensive, but the 370Z is old and irrelevant at this point.
Probably, but the Nissan is a proper rear wheel drive sportscar with a six cylinder engine and this is little more than souped-up family hatchback with a chintzy rear wing.
It's an image leader to go with Honda's F1 efforts. Let's hope the road car is a little bit better than the racing engine.
Also, what the market with the halo image? Exactly, Europe.
(Even if we are irrelevant in terms of sales or revenue)

Well call me a liar...
The Type R is coming to the USA.
I'm not even excited about the Type R, I'm just excited we have a 4 door hatchback I can buy from Honda.
The last hatchback Honda's made with 4 doors is probably one of the 4th or 5th generation Accord wagons.
Or the EP3 Civic, which was only available with 2 doors.
Not only that, but the next Civic will be a global model, much like the Ford Focus and will be built in Swindon for all markets. I think this may be a good idea as no one is currently buying the Civic here and this will help spread out the costs through greater production volumes.
Now, if they could take the S660 to Europe, that would be great.

Does it have independent rear suspension?
Nope, like the rest of the range, it has torsion beam rear suspension.
