The purists wet dream. Unfortunately it is limited to 991 units, all of which are allegedly sold already.

It has the 500bhp flat six engine from the GT3 RS, but it is 50kg lighter than it. 0-100km/h is dealt in 3"8 seconds and top speed is 323km/h (faster than both the Turbo and the GT3 RS).

Curiously it doesn't have the 7 speed gearbox from the Carreras, but rather a 6 speed manual.

When Magnus Walker can sell a 20 year old Porsche for $300,000 and up, this seems like a bargain!
Edit-
Looks like the 997 911 4.0 wasn't the last attainable manual 911 for the time being.
The 991 911 R is all sold out anyway. Plus, it has those stupid stripes.

A 911 Steve McQueen tribute? Why a 911 ?
But who cares, nevertheless a tasty 911R
Did Steve McQueen ever drive a grey one? I thought he drove a bronze/brown 911 at one point.
In any case, I hope those who had wanted to sell a 911 R for ridiculous prices at a profit have sold their 911 R already, because the next GT3 will have a stick.
Haha, ok, so Steve McQueen's 911 was in grey. And it was a turbo.

He drove a grey 911 in "Le Mans", so it sort of fits...
By the way: Car sold for 515200 €
