I don't remember the Buick-engined version though. The ones I saw had always the 16 valve engine.

Today I learned Pontiacs were sold in Europe. What a time it would have been to be alive.
They were probably sold threw the Opel (GM) network.
Because I can’t remember any Pontiac, Chevrolet or Cadillac dealers
As Oldsmobile Sillouhette in a recent Dutch magazine.

The obscure truth is that, apparently, after the first gen Trans Sport was facelifted into something more resembling a car the EDM Trans Sport was changed to a rebadged Oldsmobile Silhouette (which didn't receive the car-like facelift) because Europeans were used to avant-garde desings.
