    Chevrolet Impala

Sup, I was looking a bit into these cars and i wanted to find out more info, so i decided to post here.

Some things that id like to know are like how well this car drives and like can u add major horsepower to it. Also like are they easy to fix up and add things to the engines and stough like that. And like are the newer versions easier to make faster than the older ones or wats up with that subject.

I believe all Impalas made after 96 are front drive econo cars. I'm pretty sure that 96 marked the last year that Chevy made the rear drive impala. As far as modifications go there are plenty available. The Impalas you are interested in have the LT1 engine (also was used in the Camaro). The LT1 can handle lots of HP and supercharger systems are easy to find. Suspension, tranny and other mods are also widely available.

The newer ones have a supercharged option. But they're FWD and I don't know if they were available in manual.

'94-'96 is the best modern one. Rear drive, LT1, mods are everywhere for 'em. New ones are FWD, so not a whole lot of promise there. What year is his?
