New Fiat Bravo

These are pics of the new Fiat Bravo.

It will be based on the Grande Punto. It will be the first car of the Gruppo Fiat to feature the new 1.4 Turbocharged engines. They will be offered in two versions: 120 and 150 hp. Also a sedan version will be offered, called the Linea.

Also, Fiat will change its logo (once again). Sorry for the small pics..

I have to say that I really like the design direction of the Gruppo. The Grande Punto and the Bravo are really nice looking cars. Along with the turbo engines they will surely attract young buyers looking for a fast car (males probably).

Also expect many ricers to treat it like they treated the Punto GT!!!

I like it. It looks better than the Punto, which isn't too bad, I think it just needs to grow on me, but I definately like this.

Presumeably the long-awaited replacement for the rubbish and aged Stilo?
I still don't like the name. Although, the car looks great! I was so close to buying a new Punto. Shame italien electrics and reliability is a let down. Hopefully this'll be the turn around Fiat needs?

Wow looks amazing. Not just for a hatchback, but for a car! It has a bit of an Alfa Romeo look to it though. But that's a good thing. Are there any plans of making an Abarth model?

Haven't heard anything from them for a while. Sort of thought Fiat in now in the habit of pinning a Schumacher badge on their cars, as it's more fashionable than Abarth... Which sucks, since they perfected what we now call "import tuning" fifty years ago without the crippling ®eiYXccerxzzz bullshit we have to live with these days.

And (my favorite part) they put snorkels on some cars. There's nothing cooler than a car with a snorkel. I don't even care if it's functional.
In conclusion, we need more snorkels on our cars to help us "maintain" in this post-9/11 world.

I do think Autobianchi is still kicking, in some form or another, but I don't think this new Fiat would really be their cup of tea. It's too heavy, for starters, and there are too many compromises (read: things that make you safe, comfy, and happy - all things Abarth and Autobianchi detested in favor of dangerousness, discomfort, and the sort of grim quickness that comes with a thrashing a pissed-off and spiteful fuel-spitting 1.1-liter engine.). Abarth and Autobianchi did their best work with cars that were either tube-framed racers or dire little 1,500 pound 80's econoboxes with doors a child could break and seven-inch biscuit wheels.
