I guess it not just the F430 that has this problem. But then again I don't know the story behind this.

well, at least fire can make it more exciting.

where did you find the pic?
May the downforce be with you
I think this is old news. It was a test of the RS8 prototype at nurburgring.
Actually, when I look at the picture, there's more of that car left than the RS8, is this a different one that burned up??
I dont if I'll make home tonight
But I know I can swim
under the Tahitian moon
Does that look like the Nurburgring to you?

Another one? I guess that'll be an extra too alongside "radar guided cruise control" and "20 inch alloy wheels". They could call it "fire guided control program". Probably.

Visca Catalunya!
Here's the story behind this:
So Sad: Audi R8 mysteriously burns - Autoblog
R8-Spotting: Nooooooo!!!! Audi R8 Goes Up In Flames, We Cry - Jalopnik
Same picture. Fuel spillage caught fire.
And smoke a spicy sausage, quiggs, that's where the V10 RS8 burned This wasn't that though.
There was less of that left.

It's said that any car can burn. So far it seems true. But maybe if it were a 1.8T...
Money can't buy you friends, but you do get a better class of enemy.
Well I guess Audi can now claim to have a truly hotted up supercar. One that'll scorch the opposition faster than one can say "smoke 'em". Maybe the driver was showing off his burnout skills. Or was listening to a tape of "She's on fire"
You type without knowledge, you are 'a keyboard warrior - lots of mouth, little brain....
not just F430 and R8 here's a lambo
its burned yasterdy at Kuwait !
I guess it happens a lot to supercar prototypes because the super lightweight skin they use on them is flammable.

This is not true. VEHICLES ARE FLAMMABLE.
When you have flammable liquids, friction, sparks, heat, smaller explosions etc. there is a risk of fire. The only reason that these pics surface is because it happened on a 'special' car. If you saw a Ford Telstar next to the road on fire you wouldn't necessarily take pics and send them to 'Jalopnik' or whatever, you'd just drive straight past. It happens to all cars.
See attached a truck in Italy that caught on fire in 2006. Funny that, it didn't make the news...
