My ˘2.
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"
my attempt for a sticker.

Don't bring the fail boat into this!

Exactly ! For example I recently sold one to a family that wanted to give a retired old dock-worker a nice present for on the wall.
I made the choice not to put ads on my site, just because i want to keep it clean. Apparently this is appreciated as i scored a record of 20.000 hits last month !!! It takes a lot of work, but I love doing it At my work, many gatemen and terminal people recognize my last name now when they see my ID-card and ask me about it. It feels like quite an honor actually..
Thanks. I'm fine with that, a crate of beer or whatever can be arranged
I'm glad you like it! But believe me, I have far from covered the entire port yet! It is so immense, almost 50km x 10km large. Many people hardly realise it's size and all the activities there. I know of maybe 15 other photographers that regularly take pictures there, so as you can imagine it's quite a niche!
I recently decided to make a bit of a change to more of a news-ish coverage, as so much happens here daily that barely gets coverage. Apart from that, it's a bit more of a challenge to me now as it takes more flexibility. My knowledge of the port (i know every company's location in it by head) really puts me in an advantage to others (journalists) who barely know their way around! Just need to work on my photography skills now
By the way, you might like on of my inspirations why i started these industrial shots too. He covers the blast furnaces, coal mines and so on in decline in Germany and Belgium:

I think it could work on the sides of my car, with the increased contrast by it's colour. On the rear window, im not too sure though..
Thanks for your efforts everyone!
I remember you posting the Endangered Machinery link earlier - it is truly a sick site. Thanks for the link.
Your welcome ! I loved it too and it basically got me to shoot industrial stuff A much much harder challenge then you imagine!
By the way, i just had a long sit at the redaction of the AD national newspaper. My pic will get in the paper tomorrow they promised Check my site later tonight. Will put shots up ASAP ! Im pretty excited, though the occasion sucked bigtime. 450 dock workers are out of work, without pensions and pay at all. I was the exclusive photographer at the blockade of the ECT, long after the press monkeys went home. Whilst they uploaded their shots, I was still outside following the 50 car colonne and the actions after.
