These days of economic crisis citycars are more popular than ever, and these two are some of the most clever. So which is best?

Lack of charisma can be fatal.
Visca Catalunya!
Both look like invalid carriages and I'd NEVER buy either personally. They offer nothing to driving enthusiasts whatsoever. - I'd buy a (fun) used car instead and use the money I'd saved to pay the difference in running costs.

Haven't driven or even seen either of these micro maulers so its impossible for me to offer a worthwhile opinion.
But the design and configuration of Mitsubishi's little urban warrior is much more appealing and intruiging to me. I think its pretty neat. Given a choice out of these two jiggers for crowded city environs then no doubt I'd be heading down to the Mitsu dealer to check one out as my first preference, rather than to Toyota.
Last but not least I reckon the styling of the Mitsu is (virtually) spot on. To my eye and for what it is, it's a great looking thing.
ps: I scanned this fun bit of trivia from a July 1987 magazine
Uh, the i is a Kei car. That means I can just have a cherry-red Subaru R1. kthxbai.

The Toyota iQ is actually a really clever car. The interiors of those are very spacious despite being so tiny. SO iQ anyday.
Mitsubishi i, if I had cause to need a car in this class the 'i' is pretty much the best one. Although, I may in the future be living in Japan, so I'll tell you how it goes when that happens.

I'd have an i over an iQ.
It's essentially what the Smart should have been.

I'm currently driving a Peugeot 107 courtesy car whilst I'm waiting for my car to be repaired (it was vandalised last week!) and it's...awful (spoilt by the steering and gearbox). I agree that small cars CAN be fun to drive, but PLEASE!

Mah boi, UCP is what all true warriors strive for!
PINGAS!!!!
Toyota iQ - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Toyoto car mileage is very long
Both are available here in NZ, both are ridiculously expensive for what they are, the I.Q costing considerably more than a top spec Yaris RS 1.8.
I will take a bike with the same sized engine please.
