Ok, I need the help of italian car experts.

Driving home I've seen a red Alfa Romeo 156, seemed like an early one. It looked magnificent and had a very tasteful bodykit, which made it resemble a GTA but wasn't.

My question is, did Alfa Romeo offered an optional bodykit for the 156 from the factory or as a dealer option, or what I've just seen was someone's own work?

According to Alfa156.net there are only a few aftermarket kits available, best looking of which are Autodelta and Zender.

Apparently there are truly hideous ones.

I tried a google search but came up with nothing. The car also had a single trapezoidal tailpipe and the telephone dial wheels (not the GTA's, earlier ones). Looked brilliant. Wanted to know it if had the V6, but unfortunately it was de-badged.

I went down to the local nursery too get a few things for the garden and, as I was driving out of the car park, I noticed that there was a car show on across the road, so I stopped for a look:

I saw a new Acura ILX today.

Not a big fan of the car, I think it's too similar to a Civic, especially when there really isn't much of a performance difference.

It's not an adequate replacement of the Integra.

On the plus side, there may be a coupe coming.

It could be from [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Pierre_and_Miquelon"]Saint Pierre & Miquelon[/ame]. It's a French island between Newfoundland the Canadian Maritimes.

My friend who works at a company called FEV is doing engine benchmarking on that car(1.2L 3 cylinder gas engine). They buy cars from EU and ship them here. They drive them on the road for breaking in purpose, then tear it out and throw it on a dyno...

Wouldn't it be faster to rip out the engine and break it in on a dyno?
