Well, twice when I was learning with mum, once with mum when I took her to the supermarket and Mr. Flat-Cap in a Metro pulled out in front of me, once on the 23rd with all my family in it, and once on Christmas night with you in it

    I thought so

"One upside of the petrol engine is that handling, already excellent, is sharper still, as the lower weight of the engine means the car is less prone to ploughing straight on in fast corners. Peugeot still know how to make a fun-handling car."

Oh noes!!!1!!!!!one!11eleven!!11 My car has been given surprizze buttsecks lawl O_o

I hate it when the people visiting neighbours not only park in front of our house, but also right behind Kitty. She doesn't like strangers. Particularly not big fat Renaults.

*sighs* It's also raining, and I have another guitar up for sale. Pathetic fallacy indeed.

So did I, but I'm trying not to give him the pleasure of noting that

And good... do you want to buy it, Fred?

I wish I had some more musical talent to defend the price

How much did you pay for the Mississippi Queens? One of my friends got some Black Dogs for his Les Paul and they sound ace.

I'd be very tempted to buy it but unfortunatley I'm saving up for an original '59 Gibson Melody Maker because now the reissue has come out, the price for the original has dropped under the £1k mark. I've always liked Teles, mainly because I dislike the look of Strats. Knew someone with a '72 Custom with vibrato, and it played well. Didn't like the vibrato though ... sounds better solid.

£90 for the Mississippi Queen, £40 for the Catswhisker, plus £20 fitting the Bare Knuckle = £150

Bare Knuckle make most excellent pickups, and I can't fault that one. Tempted to get another and shove it in my Singlecut Trem, along with a Black Dog for the bridge.

If the Melody Maker falls through, then don't forget about the Tele. I can guarantee right now that the Tele is a damn sight better-sounding, better-playing and rarer than the Melody Maker!

I've always had my heart set on the Melody Maker unfortunatley. It's like why people buy Aston DB5s. They're a pig to drive but they've been having wet dreams about them since they were a wee kid watching James Bond *whistles*

    PS. Dont tempt me
