I want the euro focus, why do we in north america have to suffer?
Does Ford gain anything by not selling this car? i mean, is there any chatch to this? (lets make a focus noone will buy so we can sell another model... gain something else) ?

Happy days for you Yankee bastards.
Apparently, the next-gen European Focus and all it's derivatives (Kuga, C-Max, CC) will be going stateside around 2011, or so it's been forecasted.

Visca Catalunya!
The Euro Focus is coming to America in 2010 along with the Fiesta so Autoblog tells me.
SO if the Focus is selling well, why bother make the European Focus come here? Wasn't designing the North American one just a huge waste of money?
I guess they were bounded to do that, to prevent selling numbers to fall down.
as stated above, the Eu Focus would cost too much if imported in the US, so if the next gen Eu Focus is going to make it in NA, I think it could be the same car but built in a cheaper way, with cheaper materials, to lower the price. so actually two different cars, imo.
to say the truth, I can't quite understand how some manufacturers can built cars as the X5 in US and selling it in both Eu and NA with the same price tag basically not converted in euro or dollars.
I would like to know the price tag of the upcoming Fiesta Sedan in NA, here the standard Fiesta costs something about 22.5k $ equivalent or even more in its more common versions.
