The X4 would be more future proof ?. also i could o/c it down the road in a year or so. with the graphics, i notice all the hd cards are the same. just cooling and bundles are different. i don't mind waiting longer to buy the HD 5850 if it's truly worth it over the HD 5770 ?.

The 5850 will be better than the 5770, but I'm not sure if it's worth waiting for. This might help you, it's in US money but it still counts.

LOL i'm so confused.. Every part of the system is easy. that is until i think graphics. my first pick was the 5770. xfx xxx edition. but after spotting the performance of the 5850 against the 5770/5830 i started to doubt my choice.
Also was shocked to find the older 4850 was it?, is as fast as the 5770.

It can be a bit of a headf**k.. the 4850 was nearly the flagship when it was out, but the 5770 is a mid-range card now. One has more power, but the other has more torque. In the end, your performance is similar but the way they get there is a little different.

yeah plus the $1100 fee for the importers lol. but to be fair they take care of everything, cheaper than me spending my time chasing everything up lol.

There's an old nissan/datsun crew cab ute for sale downstairs.. that'll carry dogs and cope with rough ground.

Edit: pics added. Other bonus: with the cash you save from the forester, you can drop an SR20 in it. Or thereabouts.

Thats pretty neat for a Crew Cab. But I still think Forester Lulz are required.

Drift utes are awesome, Very popular in hawaii.

Not my style though.

EDIT: That ute would need an RB26 to get close to the STI foz.
