This supercar from Thailand is one you have to put a bit of work into, because the buyer has to install the engine.
The idea is simply to get around some of the US's motoring laws, and even Noble uses the same trick to sell its M12 cars in the States.
The Galmer Arbitrage GT neatly sidesteps any issues with US lawmakers by using a Chevrolet Corvette Z06's 7.0-litre V8 in full 512bhp tune.
The Chevy engine replaces the previous Volkswagen 3.2 V6 unit and endows the Arbitrage with a top speed of 200mph.
Only 350 cars are scheduled to be built, with the first reaching customers in early 2008. Some 250 are slated for the US, and the remaining 100 will be sold in Thailand and the rest of the world. Prices have yet to be confirmed.
The Galmer Arbitrage is another car that was announced a few days ago. Does anyone have mor einfo on this car, as it's a bit confusing
