    other examples of RR, it was an illogical place for the engine and perhaps that's why Porsche was stubborn enough to put the effort in making RR "work" and enjoyed the publicity of their madness while doing it. Most RR cars that I can think of are basically Porsches/VW based or microcars like variants of the Fiat 500 and it's japanese counterparts. But if someone comes up with some completely original RR car, please share!

    volkswagens are rr, porshe are rr, fiat 850s are rear rear um ferraris, and the alpine renault. there have to be more bubt those are just a few....wat do u think about the bmw isetta?

    MR is better balanced in wight, there is a rule about limiting the power of FR cars to 250 bhp, that says it all, think about the Honda nsx, perfect!! nothing like that was ever made with FR.

    Ferrari's are most certianly NOT RR cars, but rather either Front Engined, and more recently front and mid-mounted.

    How about Rear engine front wheel drive? Quite possibly the most illogical thing ever, so its probably been done by some american company...
