    V8 Coupes

Ok, so I know that not all of these cars have been road tested yet, but...

Which pair of V8-powered coupes would you want to own?

    BMW M3
    &
    Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG

    or

    Aston Martin V8 Vantage
    &
    Jaguar XKR

    or

    Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione
    &
    Maserati GranTurismo

    or

    Chevrolet Corvette Z06
    &
    Ford Mustang Shelby GT500
    .

Either the Aston & Jag pair, or the Chevy & Ford pair.

Is it just me or it doesn't make much sense, since sometimes the cars are rivals and don't complement each other? I don't want to have 2 cars that can do exactly the same...

In all fairness, the Chevy and Ford are worlds apart. I'd take that pair if I wanted a track day beast (Z06) and then something to drive the family in (GT500). The Aston & Jag pair is a little more pointless, but the BMW/Mercedes combo would be useful- you could use the M3 as your 'shopping car' and the Cl63 for crushing continents. The Alfa and Maserati combo I can't see the point of, though.

I'd take the Z06 and the GT500. Sell the GT500 and buy another vette.

Then can I have the Jaguar XKR and the Alfa Romeo 8C?

The Alfa and Maserati are tempting but I'd go with the M3 and CL63.

    No.

Choose from the pairs you already have!

If that was a pair, I'd take it. Style, mate...

That's a toughy, I'd love a Corvette & a GT500 but I;d probably go for the Aston & the Jag, probably 2 of the prettiest cars in production right now

The Italians. I don't care if it comes with the duck-drier, I'd kill for an 8c. Indiscriminately, I might add. Women, children, grandparents, whatever. Just give me the damn car.

    3rd pair.

They could give me a fat hooker that smells like crap and I'll still take the 8C
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
