computer peripheral help

hello, i need some help.

does anyone here use a computer pad?
the USB (usualy) addapted sketch pads? you use a special pen? pressure sensitive etc...

i am in need of some assistance because all the sites related to these pens i can find are blocked by the student governing council, so we cant go online and buy stuff from the schools IP...

I would think a normal stylus would work for a drawing pad, I haven't used one in a long time so I'm not to sure.

i have one that makes graphs and you can write, its no good for sketching, the pen is too bold
