i'd place it ahead of the merc and the audi tbh.
but for that money, there are second hand porsches to buy haha

The Merc is just an engine, so in that respect the Lexus has it beat, because they at least tried to do stuff with the rest of the car. I think I still like it more than the F but I honestly see no reason to buy anything other than an M3 when it comes to premium German hot sedans.

The rumour is that the Esprit will be available with a choice of the LFA V10 or the IS-F V8. Not sure on gearboxes.

An engine and styling. But yeah, I'd get the M3.

I vote for the V10. Still short of the Ferrari 458 V8 but too good to waste in a toyota. The rest of the car toyota can keep.

I actually like the 63. I know it's just an engine, but what an engine. BMW leaves me completely cold but is the only one available with a manual. Lexus is far too tacky and ghastly. Audi is just an Audi.

So head says M3, but heart AMG Merc.

You'll just have to get both.

I try to egg on every C63 I pass on the road so I can hear that motor. Glorious, just glorious.

I remember some months ago sitting behind one windows up and radio on and the engine was still clearly audible.

BTW the C63's handling isn't as bad as it seems to be. The suspension may not be the best, but remember, it was the first-ever AMG to come with a reworked suspension. So it isn't just an engine.
And when it comes to emotions, the C63 simply destroys the others. For me, the Audi, the BMW and the IS-F are too cold and soulless. Too clinical. Which is a sad thing if you consider that the E46 M3 is one of my absolute favorite cars. Lexus can only improve in my eyes, while I'm with Ferrer on Audi.

    Lexus IS-F

    Just 3 photos.

I kind a like seeing the first generation IS every so often. I liked how it had a straight 6, just like BMW. And if I remember right, it has a similar engine to the Supra, so if you wanted massive power out of it, you could very easily do so.

The 2JZ-GE in the first gen IS300/Altezza was the Supra engine.
