Thanx, I think ... I truly hated that whole "new wave" scene from the '80's, I remember people in my high school listening to Duran Duran, Asia, Culture Club, and a bunch of other bands that I will not pain myself to try to remember, all of them with swoopy haircuts held in place with more gel and hairspray than either of my sisters used .

Then there was me and a few of my "elite" friends, all of us in studded leather wristbands, combat fatigues or torn, bleached jeans and black Doc Martins' boots with red laces (we were (pseudo-)anarchists ... at the time ) listening to The Dead Kennedys, The Buzzcocks, Generation X, The Damned, UK Subs, The Adverts etc. Some us had shaved heads (I still do), others with mohawks and hair dye was cool ... but only because we were the baddest of the badasses.

I kinda got a kick out of the survey, you either picked a close answer or were left with no option except the one that sounded coolest. Good for a laugh anyway.
