It's like with cars ... it's what you DO with it that matters !!!!

Thankfully HP were paying it all back to me later
I bet you could not start your car with that card

Push button starters are nothing new.. my 1965 mini van had one. When the ignition barrel died I just jumped it directly from the battery with a lead (the battery was behind the driver's seat), pushed the button and away I went.

That's one of the classiest things you could do with a real set of keys. It doesn't matter if it is a Ferrari badged key or not.

But that's the thing. If I run out the door in a hurry, the last thing I'd equate to car keys is a black chunk of plastic.

Well, as I said I guess you just get used to it. By now it's natural.

    I guess.

By the way, how far away do you need to take the fob away from the car for the car to shut down?

It doesn't have keyless entry, it works as a normal key when opening and closing. It has buttons and stuff. And in case the battery goes flat it has a small metal key to be able to open the doors.

Same with Saabs and the Fiat Croma even if they aren't flat.
Modern keys need a battery as well btw.

As with mine, I always wonder how you'd jump start the car if the battery were to die. Had to use my little keyblade to lock my car after a catastrophic breakdown at Christmas

Now that makes more sense if you HAVE to have keyless, mine however is think, brittle and fragile...

Though since the picture, I have a nice new one with markings on the buttons as the one pictured stopped working in the dashboard ignition slot...

and in the mean time you would have to explain to that horny semi drunk, just picked up girl hanging on your arm, that you had lost your keys....what an opportunity lost....

I'm sure a solution/quiet alley could be found in the mean time...

    ^^ QFT ^^

Besides, Pieter, you have clearly missed an opportunity if you have picked up "horny semi drunk girls" and then had to DRIVE . Rear seat is the place to be at those times

I just can't imagine what's going through Wouter's mind as he is reading this
