    This was revealed to the worlds's press at the Ville d'Este Concours d'Elegance... which today (Sunday) was open to the public, around €10
    Really disapointed I didn't make the trip!

    Yeah the swisscarsightings is a fantastic site!

    as i said, the car's at exhibition at villa d'este. i'm sure it'll be featured on the ucp main page tomorrow also

    There's a good chance it may not. BMW's release seem to have stated that the car is merely paying homage to the 30 year old M1, and nothing more. BMW, also had absolutely nothing to say about what the drivetrain could possibly be.

    I think that may be for the best, though. But I do love this car.

    It looks good and seemed like a good idea, but probably best left as a concept.
