what GTA needs is brand name cars.

Too expensive getting licenses to all the names of the cars. And at $50 to buy in in the first place, I'm happy with the almost-brand name cars - this is why I wated a year to buy GTA Vice City for $30. Besides, it's fun figuring the cars out.

wow, why not just call it San Fransisco? I know Vice was based on Miami, but loose enough to make it look like it's own different city, but SA is just a brutal rip off of San fransisco. I mean look at it, Golden Gate Bridge, the fort under it, Transamerica Building, Lombard Street, Trolley ways..... I mean, it's not just inspired by SF, it IS SF. Maybe RockStars just afraid of getting San Fransisco associated with gays.

Primarily cos that games are based on the individual cities from the original Grand Theft Auto on PC and Playstation. Surely I'm not the only one who remembers that.

Secondarily, there's little point in naming an area after somewhere real unless it's actually modelled on the city itself ala Metropolis street racer, PGR, The Getaway, etc. By doing what they've done, they get to let you think its san fran, but they get total freedom with the levels. Makes good sense to me anyway.

That's nice......I am guessing you have an Xbox.......I will also go to the point of guessing you have Halo2 (for every 5 Xbox's, there should be a little more then 2 Halo2's). So, instead of putting up a post on a thread several months dead about a game that was already out for another system, play Halo2

Yeah. So damn hard, but well worth it. I was suprised when I foudn out that the first level was going to be so damn hard.......much harder then the next five or so pretty much.

The GTA's are fun games to play and it's kinda funny how none of the car manufacterors let them use thier trademarked names. So they make up some pretty goofy names for the cars.
