Just for your info this particular type of 300 SL wasnt used in racing (at least officially entered by the factory). The car featured here is the road version derived from the racing version which won La Carrera Panamericana in 1952 if I'm not mistaken. Incindentally the race cars were less powerful than the road cars.Originally Posted by Classic Anycar

I think he is in the right forum with his question. If you go to the main page and click on "cars" you will find a section on racing cars with a subsection "other sportscars". It should have been listed there.Originally Posted by The_Canuck
