Aston Martin V12 Vantage RS Concept 2007

Unfortunately the car will not be built as originally shown.

AM has decided to scale back on the power and up the comfort, essentially creating a smaller DBS.

As mentioned previously the basics of the car is a DBS Engine transplanted into the body of a Vantage coupe. We have been informed that the vehicle fit out will be along the lines of the DBS with regard to the on board equipment, eg Satellite Navigation, Memory Seats, Bluetooth, etc. The vehicle will also be trimmed in full leather (semi-aniline as per DBS) and not alcantara as per the concept vehicle. Suspension, braking and drive train systems will also be upgraded as per DBS to accommodate for the additional power and design of the car. Vehicle will only be sold as a manual.

Pricing for the vehicle has been indicated as $420,000 plus on road costs (approx $455,000 total) which is much better than the previous indication of over $500,000. Options will be in the form of colour and trim options with most other items as standard.

One-77 will be a Halo car, this will be a fast road sports car. Intended to go against the Porsche GT3

I'm sure you could order one, but they wouldn't have that many vents there iff they didn't think they needed them.

I suspect that just painting them body colour would improve it massively though.
