    rant on

Clem was told after the last Fujitsu round that the pits had to be widened, pit garages installed etc. he didnt of course because he's tight. Serves him right, if he actually put some money into Mallala he would have got accreditation. On the weekend instead of getting our usual 5 races he cut us back down to 3, because he had a drifto display and 4 rednecks doing burnouts. Did we get a partial refund for having 2 less races NO F#UCKIN CHANCE. The sooner a new race track is developed and AIR is open again, The Drifters and Clem can have Mallala all to themselves as the local circuit guys have had a gutful of his cash grabbing mentality Its a good track, just that the owner is a wanker

    Rant off

I didn't see it...I can't say I watch Rove that much anymore. If anyone is a regular watcher, what happened with those guys that wanted the road trip or something...wasn't Rove going to make them do something crazy for it?

Wonder if they nail the limiter in 6th with the bathurst gears at woomera? Id go there just to hear that in the wide open spaces... Oh, going back to the top 10 at Surfers, did anyone else notice how different the exhaust note was of the Tasman #3 car? It was like a banshee compared to the others. Sounded awesome.

It looks like Symmons Plains will also hold a hearing between the stewards and 888 after Lowndes pleaded not guilty to bringing the sport into disrepute. Pleading guilty would have gotten it over and done with, possibly just with a fine but apparently Roland Dane's had enough and is going for all its worth. All the luck to him, those penalties and how they were handed out were an absolute joke.

Lowndes was right though, the officials are happy to have a closer championship fight at Lowndes' expense.

I got an email back from V8SCA. It said in a nutshell that rules broken get punished regardless of driver or car. And basically but politely told me to get back in my box.

Great to see FPR finally getting some results - but this result is HUGE for the championship - Lowndes 27th, Rick Kelly 3rd, and Winterbottom 2nd.

What happened to Lowndes??? Us kiwis have to wait till tomorrow afternoon for coverage, and there arent any articles up on the website yet

By the fastest laps, he doesnt even look like being anywhere near the pace - about a second off the leaders.

I bet he's wishing the reverse grids were back...

If Bright had any sense, he'd let Winterbottom win methinks.

Lowndes was in a multi car pile up on the first lap, Come in too the pits and lost 2 laps fixing car, then seem too have a broken roll bar or something.
The FPR boys got a lucky shot as did Bright and Tander with skaife returning too the pits with a loose wheel after his pit stop he was looking faster then the 2. Then in the closing laps Tander seem too loose some power engine trouble and was gobbled up by bright winterbottom and then r. kelly. He limped home.
