    I think the V-6 comes from Honda. Not sure. Can anyone verify this?

    Yes it did. I don't know if they still use it after it got its face-lift this year.

    That is GM's new strategy for Saturn. The Aura is based on the Vectra, the Sky is based on the GT, and in the future they're planning on bringing over the Astra as well.

    Then why not kill Saturn altogether and bring them to the US as Opels?

    Saturn is a more well-known and respected name here than Opel. I believe Opel only had one model here previously and it was 30+ years ago.

    They had the Kadett in the mid-late 60's and the GT. At one point they were sold through Buick dealerships Buick-Opels if I remember corectly.
