    Name An English Car

    "Name An English Car."

Some of us Cadillac guys got together and one of them came up with this.
So the three of us started naming the English cars we know. The list is below but I'll also list the cars if the handwriting is too hard to read.

List is below. So how did 3 Cadillac guys do? How many other English cars did we miss?

    Aston-Martin
    Rolls-Royce
    MG
    Jaguar
    Bentley
    Triumph
    Vaxhall
    Rover
Armstrong Siddley (not sure of spelling)
    Daimler
    Allard
    Jowett Jupiter
    Sunbeam Alpine
    Morris Minor
    Goliath
    Angelica
    Singer
    Riley
    Jenson
    Kurtis
    Hillman Minx
    Humber
    (Can't read the last one)
'76 Cadillac Fleetwood Seventy-Five Limousine, '95 Lincoln Town Car.

Well, one guy is retired. He has a lot of spare time.

About those two, yeah, I knew we forgot some.

Is there a reason that some of the names are for companies and others for specific models???

    I'm going with:
    1. Ginetta
    2. Marcos
    3. TVR
    4. AC
    5. Vanwall
    6. BRM
    7. Austin (...wierd that someone mentioned Austin-Healy.)
    8. Unipower
    9. Peel (Which I believe was made on the Isle of Mann, so not quite Engilsh.)
    10. Talbot
    11. Woosley
    12. Squire
    13. Mclaren (The company is entierly based in England.)
    14. ERA
    15. Ascari

That's it off the top of my head, but I know I'm only scratching the surface.

...erm, I just thought the same, while reading your lists...!!

..and also Ultima.. (or is this just the name of the car..?!)
..what about Edonis (but they haven't got a car on the road yet...)

    ..and even some more:
    - Noble
    - Invicta
    - Morgan
    - Westfield
    - Ariel
    - Mini (...wich is Part of BMW now...)

..I think, we get closer to the end now...

Cooper? They built some race cars. And the "Cooper" of Mini Cooper.
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

Goliath (Go-Li-At...not goliath)was German (think gogomobile)

Kurtis was made in LA.also made Indy roadsters, the classic Kurtis roadster.

Jupiter was a model of Jowet (flat 4 front engine...think Subaru 50 years ago). they had at leatehr model.

    for starters.
