    Hmm.

I imagine this means he expects to come out on top by the end of the season. Fair enough too, finish on a high, but announce it now so as to make the transition to a new driver easier for the team to organise. Kimi going to Ferrari is probably a good move really, given McLaren's form this year.

Oh. My. God. I am so surprised by this...

Never saw it coming.... rather pissed of with James Allen for ruining the moment by telling everyone that he'd told his mechanics... I even wrote an email to ITV: the bastards.

Awww.... you wanted him to retire.... I'm sure that must have made his decision much simpler.

Alonso just isn't rising to the pressure... pissing and moaning about that grid penalty was perfectly understandable pre-race (the penalty was a load of b*llocks, don't you think?), but to keep on after your engine has let go just makes him look like a child.

Didn't like Flav's reaction at all - he's turning into a bitter old man. Renault, it would seem, just can't hack it!

Damn! I really wanted to see MSC and Kimi race on equal machinery.

I guess Ferrari really wanted Kimi and Shuey really didn't want him along hence parted ways. I think he will remain as a consultant at Ferrari. It would be cool for him to try coach Kimi, because he wouldn't probably want the help....

Edit: Did you guys see MotoGP? now, THAT's racing!!! 7 passes for lead in the last three laps, and when they come to parc ferme they just smile at each other and congratulate for a good race! and Dani Pedrosa... he barely could walk and still lapped fast enough for a solid third place, ahead of championship leader AND teammate Hayden!!! It left me ecstatic at 3 am... wow, just, wow...

Apparently Philip Morris (Marlboro) were pushing hardest for those two to partner up... rumour has it they even offered to pay their salaries!
