Let's just go ahead and have this one out.
'Quail's an orange man, because I think it's the better piece of produce.
Its leathery skin means that you can keep them on the shelves longer and its segmented, membranous nature means there's more to discover once you get into it.
Apples are much more fickle. Once they're bruised, they have a soft, brown spot that haunts them for the rest of their supermarket life cycle. They're cheaper per bag, sure, but they've really not got a great vitamin C supply, do they?
Oranges don't bruise. Oranges tend to hold their goodness inside and even if they outside gets a little crusty there's still every chance that when you break into it the juicy segments will be as good as ever.
So, Oranges are better than Apples.
I suspect some will dispute.
