Yawn. Complete failure by Nissan, especially after all the hype. Deserved or not, the Skyline had a large following. Now they've delivered a car that weighs over 3800 pounds, doesn't come with a manual transmission, and costs over $60,000. I was hoping for something like the R8... big dissapointment.

except for stupid styling and retarded fanboys, there is nothing i can be able to point out that is skyline exclusive, except for the turbos which are undoubtedly programmed to explode after 10 miles just like the R-34
Uh.... they look a bit different, no?

Not to mention the 200+ hp boost and suspension. I'd love to see you find a G35 with 400hp and can lap the Nuerburgring in high 7:40s.

Yeah, as a GT-R fanboy, this is kinda sucky.

I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.

I don't believe the article merely on the fact that the new GT-R isn't a d*mn Skyline. When will these people learn?

And yes, it will feature a paddle shift, which is a form of manual. It just won't offer a stick, but not much on the market does anyways.

Personally I think everyone needs to pop a "chill pill".

Condiser for a second which car this is. The Evo X is going to be launched with "only" a paddle-shift gearbox because it suits the type of car. Same here. The R34 already had plenty of electronics - enough to run several cars in fact - this is just the evolution.

Personally I'm reserving final judgement until the car's actually released. /hint.

I think a few people are confusing a DSG style, twin clutch paddle shift 'box with a slushbox.

Many people will buy this car and many people will want this car just because it's a Nissan Skyline. It should have a proper manual but it will still be very popular, even if the car is manufactured without a proper manual. The Nissan Skyline just has a legendary and notorious status so any real Skyline will sell and be very popular.

Unfortunately that would be true if the car WAS a Skyline. It's not. It's a Nissan GT-R. They dropped the Skyline part in the name officially.

Well it's the G37 now, and it has 330 horsepower.
