    Damn Mercedes can't even keep the drivers in the cars....

    This is old now but it makes me laugh. Wouldn't have happened is he had been driving an X5...


    OK to explain to everyone that doesn't understand, in the AFL (Australian Football League), Ben Cousins is one of the stars of the game and captain of my home team. On the weekend he was driving along in his new M-Class with some people and saw a booze bus up the road, so he promptly stopped his car and bolted for no apparent reason. If you follow the story, he outran 5 pursuing police officers across countryside for near on a kilometre, crossed a river and stopped at a restaurant where he called a friend to pick him up.

    Remember the enormous anti-4wd publicity which ensued after rugby star Phil Kearns (accidentally) ran over his 19 month old daughter in his driveway with a VW Toureg? Just about every newspaper & TV news in the nation featured footage of the evil car still sitting in Kearns' driveway, and much discussion about banning 4wds from suburbia

    Ironically the Toureg that he was driving was owned by VW, in one of those 'celebrity brand-placement' deals designed to engender publicity for the Toureg

    VW sure got their money's worth

    Why not go through the booze bus? Getting done DD is better than what went down. If you listen to a few people, it sounds like the actions of someone who's had too much of something, and that something ain't alcohol...

    Half the time they let them go anyway, Coming home from Bathurst they stooped us in the Family Territory and let the hoons in the HSV's and FPV's through who were dragging on the highway, Low like 80mm. Loud like 300db
