One of my old bosses had a 124 Spider. I was working at his house one weekend, cleaning out his garage. I was up on a ladder, over the car, moving things around on the loft in their garage. As I was climbing down, the feet on the ladder slipped and the ladder fell with me on it, onto the hood of the Fiat and then slid sideways down the hood taking all the paint off with me. I just put the ladder away and never ever told him about it.

Ahhh yes, Nedward... the things we got away with working there, I'm amazed that we weren't fired, or sued, or both... good times... Psalm 23, Roy and Matt style - funeral folders will never be the same...Originally Posted by Matt

Sedan and Wagon were produced in Russia for many years as Lada. I think one of the versions of 124 Special still is (Lada Vaz 2106). Waiting list to get one of those back in 80s often was few years long.Originally Posted by Matt

You're right. But not in Tolliatti but in Izhevsk (new seats, 5-speed gearbox). And 2104 are also produced there. I don't like that cars, old ones were better.Originally Posted by smxi

I don't know if this belongs better in this 124 thread or the rallying version thread, but the music video from the Dutch rock group Liana will feature a Fiat 124 Sport Spider if this photograph from the video shoot is to be believed:
Power to me is having the ability to make a change in a positive way. Don't dream it, be it.
