    Well, Polski Fiat is Fiat 125, and this one remotely related to Fiat 124. Fiat did not help developing this model, but the car does share a few components with 2101-2103/2106 range.

    Many such cars are worked as taxi in my town. It's a one of a cheapest cars on the our trade (with Slavuta). But.........Moskvich is better

    Wow... the Fiat 124 (and derivates) must be one of the longest runing cars ever. Any more info on the car? Does it still use the old Fiat twin cam engine? How much does it cost?

    hah, in fact it's still getting more popular so they opened assembly line in ukraine in 2001 for it as well as in egypt
    dunno what is the capacity of the fiat's engine, but now it's offered with 1,5 l/70 BHP and 1,6 l/75 BHP
    in 2003 they made 164 000 of them

    the funny thing is, there's also made the older version of it - iż 2106, it's been sold since 1976, 2107 since 1982

    I think that Vaz 2107 sold for little over 5500 dollars. If I'm not mistaking. They have moved production to Izhevs city.
