Two cars were entered for the subsequent 6 Hours of Le Castellet where one clinched pole and the other finished second after an eventful race. The cars were subsequently upgraded and tested at Le Mans and raced in the 1000 km of Spa-Francorchamps but teething problems prevented the Toyota-engined machines to feature at the sharp end of the field.

At Le Mans, the Toyota-engined Rebellion Lolas emerged as the quickest of the non-diesel runners and the sole surviving example finished sixth behind the winning Audi and four Peugeots. During the remainder of the 2011 season, the cars continued to deliver both speed and reliability. Ahead of the 24 Hours of Le Mans TMG, Lola and Rebellion had already agreed to extend the deal, which stipulated that up to four Lola chassis could run the RV8KLM engine.

Over the winter the team worked to update the Lolas to the latest regulations. Now known as the B12/60, the revised Lolas sported bigger and more upright headlights as well as the now mandatory fin on the back. While many expected the TMG/Rebellion deal to be a prelude of a works assault on Le Mans, a new Toyota racer did emerge in 2012 but it shared nothing with the customer project and also featured a bespoke new engine.

Rebellion Racing entered its pair of Toyota-engined Lolas in the new FIA World Endurance Championship with the specific target of winning the privateers cup. The updates proved to work very well and one of the cars placed a remarkable fourth at Le Mans. During the subsequent races, the Swiss team managed to score enough points to be crowned privateer World Champion. A fitting finale to this great year was the outright victory in the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.

For the 2013 season, the B12/60s were updated only in detail, adapting a full-width rear wing as the most obvious change. The Rebellion Racing team decided to race the cars both in the FIA WEC and select rounds of the ALMS. At the season opening FIA WEC races at Silverstone and Spa, the cars once again were the fastest privateers. Ahead of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the team announced the intentions to run a purpose-built Rebellion LMP1 car from 2014 onwards.
