Chassis:
A prominent Ferrari customer from the United Arab Emirates commissioned this one-off machine from the Special Projects department. Completed in 2011, it was not seen in public until 2018, when it was offered for sale by a Houston, Texas based dealer. One of the reason, this unique Ferrari had been so obscure is that was never actually driven by the first owner. When it was consigned to the 2019 RM Sotheby's Paris sale, it had just 110km on the odometer and the plastic protection film was still affixed to the infotainment screen. Despite a high bid of around $2.2 million it did not sell. Some five years later, it was back on the market and consigned to the Bonhams Miami Grand Prix sale, still with less than 200 km on the odometer.
