Chassis:
Completed in 1995, this chassis was originally finished in 'Genesis Blue Metallic'. It was delivered new to F1 GTR racer Ray Bellm, on what fittingly was his 46th birthday. The car was later repainted silver, it was more recently submitted to a complete service at McLaren. Still in their care, it was shown at the 2010 Goodwood press day. Since then, it has been regularly used by its latest custodian, who entrusted us that he wants to make his the highest mileage McLaren F1 in existence. He was certainly true to his word and in 2011 and 2012, chassis 046 was seen all over Europe.
