Chassis:
The second of three 1978-specification Porsche 935s delivered to Georg Loos for his Gelo Racing Team. It debuted in the DRM round at Zolder where Toine Hezemans scored an outright victory. A week later, it continued its winning ways, this time in the Mugello 6 Hours with Hezemans, Hans Heyer and John Fitzpatrick sharing the driving duties. Along with its sister cars, this Gelo 935 remained very successful in national and international events, with an outright win in 1979 Nürburgring 1000 km as another highlight. Successive owners continued to race the car well into the 1980s by which time it had been modified to 935 K3 specification. It has since been restored back to its original configuration and Gelo livery.
