Chassis:
One of the very last Daytonas produced, this car was sold new as a regular production road car to Jacques Swaters' Ecurie Francorchamps in 1975. Probably never registered for the road, it was immediately converted to Group 4 specification. Liveried in Belgian racing yellow, it was soon after entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans for Jean-Claude Andruet and Teddy Pilette, who finished 12th overall. Although retained by Swaters until the early 1980s, it was not raced in contemporary events again. Its subsequent French owners have extensively campaigned the Daytona in historic events during the last two decades.
