Chassis:
Finished in a dark burgundy, this F1 GT was acquired by a Japanese enthusiast. At one point, he owned one each of the F1 variants including a rare F1 LM, a F1 GTR and a road car. During the mid-2000s, it was damaged in a fire and returned to Woking for a rebuild. Upon completion, it was re-painted in a silver/black livery similar to the McLaren Formula 1 cars raced with great success by Mika Hakkinen and David Coulthard. Loaned to McLaren by the owner, it was displayed at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
