The 12th of the 25 CLK-GTR road cars built, this example was sold new to a Swiss enthusiast in 2000. He mainly used the cars for runs between his home country and Stuttgart. He retained the car through to 2014 by which time it had covered only 3,285 km. Recently serviced by Mercedes-Benz Stuttgart, it is still in as-new condition. The CLK-GTR's second owner has now consigned it to the Bonhams' 2016 Les Grandes Marques du Monde au Grand Palais sale in Paris.
